Teegarita

This is my signature summer cocktail.  The margarita is a well-loved drink for many, but I’m not sure who “Marge” is.

1 ounce gold tequila

1/2 ounce triple sec

1 ounce Rose’s sweetened lime juice.

Mix with ice in a cocktail shaker.  Serve in a chilled margarita glass, rimmed with margarita salt, over ice cubes (aka “on the rocks”).

The importance of using margarita salt over table salt cannot be overemphasized.   This cocktail should be made with LIME … not strawberry, watermelon, or some other fruit.

The picture depicts Terrance with a blendarized Teegarita, which was concocted for friends.  One must make some concessions when hosting a party!
